At the Finnish Spitz Society’s Open show at Corley Village Hall on Saturday 29th October we had an entry of 21 dogs for judge Mr Rodney Oldham. These included one NFC but present, and two absentees, both owners having good reasons for being unable to attend. The18 dogs present made 28 entries. BIS was Hannah and Rob Thompson and Angela and David Cavill’s Ch Toveri Piku from Hakojen, at nine years of age, coming from the Veteran bitch class, with RBIS and RBB being Ch T Tuula owned by Hannah, Rob and Angela. In dogs, the BD was Abby Rolfe’s Enkelini Salama, also coming from the Veteran class. RBD was Stuart Hallett’s Sukunimi Otto, also BP.

We were again lucky with the weather, on a dry and sufficiently warm day the judging was outside. In fact most of the Society’s Open shows at this venue have been judged outside.

As usual, the show was followed by a Committee meeting, at which Stuart Hallett was co-opted as a member
