I’ll start with the news that Pam McQuaide has been in hospital having rather serious open heart surgery. She spent a couple of days in ICU but was soon transferred to a High Dependency unit and did manage to call me to say that surgery went well but she was in a lot of pain. All of the dogs are being looked after and she will spend a couple of weeks recuperating at a friends but I am sure she would love to hear from you all. (Contact me and I will pass on the address where she is staying.

General CH show news where Robert Greaves took Rigsby (Ch / IR CH Kunniakas Look No Further To Whittimere) all the way to Belfast for the AVNSC classes. He won Open Dog and Best AVNSC Dog under judge Mrs M Bryce-Smith.

This weekend saw the Finnish Spitz Club where judge Ben Reynolds- Frost drew an ‘entry’ of 35. Unfortunately from what I can garner only 17 were available to judge which makes a 52% absentee rate. He found a 3rd (crowning CC) and BIS for Piearce & Andersons’ Sukunimi Haway Geordie. He won his first CC from M. Holmi and his 2nd from Mary Deats. He is by CH Kunniakas Kovu x Sukunimi Meri. Bitch CC and RBIS (2nd) for Littlejohn’s Puulatva Wee Lassie Wae Arcuilean. Res DCC was Honisett’s Valokki Vihtori Veli which now enters him into the stud book along with Res CC winner & BPIS Piearce’s Sukunimi Tiger Rosie. Thanks must go to David for the results.
