The FSC’s Ch show was held at Baginton Village Hall for the second time where the judge was Ben Reynolds-Frost. Unlike the club’s first show at this venue, the weather forced almost all of the judging to be held indoors, with many showers outside; the only exception being the brace class. Of a total entry of 35 dogs, due to absences and NFC entries, just 18 dogs made it to the ring – a disappointment for all concerned.
However, the judging produced a new champion in Linda Anderson and Steve and Alison Piearce’s Sukunimi Haway Geordie, who lives with Linda and is usually handled by Steve. Geordie was also BIS. RDCC was Georgina Honisett’s Valokki Vihtori Veli – his first such award, handled by Georgina, returning to the ring after the birth of baby Isabelle.
In bitches the CC was won by Drew and Susan Littlejohn’s Puulatva Wee Lassie wae Arcuilean, her second such award, and the RBCC was Steve and Alison Piearce’s puppy S Tiger Rosie, at I understand her first show. She was also BP. BV was Abby Rolfe’s Inkivaari Helli, now well past her 11th birthday.
