It was nice to finally have an entry with numbers into double figures and judge Mary Deats quadrupled (at least) our recent Championship show entries at the Finnish Spitz Society Championship show. Unfortunately there were no puppies entered or in attendance but there have been a number of litters born so hopefully they will help swell the figures later in the year.
BIS and BCC came from Veteran for Thompson & Cavill’s Ch Toveri Pimu and Linda Anderson’s Sukunimi Haway Geordie taking his 1st CC and RBIS from Post Graduate. Res DCC was Piearce’s Sukunimi Koda and Res BCC was Masters’ Ch Toveri Neiti.
There was a lovely atmosphere (but that is always much easier to achieve when there are more than 3 or 4 people there!) and the rain stayed away for the duration despite a dire forecast.
It was then up to Blackpool where Liz Cartledge had an entry of 7 and fortunately they were all in attendance. DCC, BOB & later Group 4 was Will Croxfords Ch / IR Ch Kunniakas Look No further For Whittimere handled by Robert. BCC was Thompson & Cavill’s Ch Toveri Pimu with the reserves going to Dalley’s Toveri Markku and Littlejohn’s Puulatva Minnie the Minx wae Arcuilean.
The breed now has a break until the Hound Show in August with no shows giving us our own classes. Time to save up ready for the glut in August!
