Thank you to Irene Slater for the following. The entry was small, but probably not less than to be expected, and at least they all turned up.
Kingston held its annual open show at the South East of England Showground near Ardingly in Sussex on July 16. There were only three Finnish Spitz entered and all were present. There were only two classes (puppy and open) and all three dogs were entered in the open class. The judge was Sharon Rossiter who later judged the hound group as well. Her BOB was Valokki Venla Sisko, handled by joint owner Irene Slater. It is a nice and relaxed show surrounded by beautiful Sussex landscapes. However the weather there is often a mystery! When we left home it was hot and sunny. In Ardingly it was much cooler, cloudy, and very windy.
