2023 (42nd) Finnish Spitz Society Championship Show
The 42nd Finnish Spitz Society Championship Show was held on Sunday 11th June 2023 at Corley Village Hall, Church Lane, Corley, near Coventry CV7 8AZ.
Breed Specialist Mrs Linda Anderson (Sisu) judged the main classes in the Championship Show.
For the 11th time, we also had three “Special Awards” classes. Mrs Sue Hewart-Chambers judged these classes. Judging took place prior to the main show.
2022 (41st) Finnish Spitz Society Championship Show
The 41st Finnish Spitz Society Championship Show was held on Sunday 12th June 2022 at Corley Village Hall, Church Lane, Corley, near Coventry CV7 8AZ.
Mrs Jane Maxwell (Bardrestan) judged the main classes in the Championship Show.
For the 10th time, we also had three “Special Awards” classes. The judge for these classes was Mrs Felicity Ash and judging took place prior to the main show..

Please note that 1st July 2022 is the 50th Anniversary of the formation of The Finnish Spitz Society and we celebrated that milestone just over 2 weeks earlier at our 41st Championship Show on Sunday 12th June 2022.
We held 2 Championship Shows in 2021 as a result of postponements caused by Covid restrictions in 2020 and 2021.
Second 2021 Show – Rescheduled 2021 (40th) Finnish Spitz Society Championship Show
This Show was POSTPONED in June 2021 because of the Covid-19 situation. It was rescheduled as follows:
The 40th (Ruby Anniversary) Finnish Spitz Society Championship Show was held on Saturday 30th October 2021 at Corley Village Hall, Church Lane, Corley, near Coventry CV7 8AZ. This was on the date when our Open Show would usually take place, but that show was cancelled in 2021.
Mrs Wendy Sharman (Naraena) judged the main classes in the Championship Show.
For the 9th time, we also had three “Special Awards” classes. Our Chairman Miss Abby Rolfe (Enkelini) judged these classes and judging took place prior to the main show.

at Corley Village Hall, Church Lane, Corley, near Coventry CV7 8AZ.
Mr Keith Thornton (Karnak) judged the main classes in the Championship Show.
For the 8th time, we also had three “Special Awards” classes which were judged by Mr Glenway Dymock prior to the main show.
Doors opened at 9:30 am and judging commenced at 10:30 am.

2019 Finnish Spitz Society Championship Show
The 38th Finnish Spitz Society Championship Show was held on Sunday 16th June 2019
at Corley Village Hall, Church Lane, Corley, near Coventry CV7 8AZ.
Mr Chris N. Window (Hanbar) judged the main classes in the Championship Show.
For the 7th time, we also had three “Special Awards” classes which were judged by Miss Annelise Haugstad (Skogly) prior to the main show.
Doors opened at 9:30 am and judging commenced at 10:30 am.

2018 Finnish Spitz Society Championship Show
The 37th Finnish Spitz Society Championship Show was held on Sunday 17th June 2018
at Corley Village Hall, Church Lane, Corley, near Coventry CV7 8AZ. We also organised a Finnish Spitz “Fun day” on the afternoon of the preceding day Saturday 16th June 2018 at the same venue. Read more about that here
Mr Gavin Robertson (Soletrader) judged the main classes in the Championship Show. For the fifth time, we also had three “Special Awards” classes which were judged by Mrs Clare Masters prior to the main show.
Doors opened at 9:30 am and judging commenced at 10:30 am.
