Finnish Spitz birch wood clock by Veico – * SOLD OUT * – please enquire about special orders
The very elegant Finnish Spitz clock is designed and made in Finland by Veico out of local birch wood. The size of the clock (in a protective cardboard box) is 23 x 24 x 5 cm and it weighs 469 grams (in the box). The clock is square and is cut out of solid birch with the image of a Finnish Spitz and the hour numbers burned into it. The surface is treated with a natural wood oil to keep the dirt off. On the reverse side is the clock mechanism which operates quietly with one AA battery (not supplied).

This is a set of 2 kitchen items – a bag closer and a pot watcher made in Finland by Veico out of local birch wood. Both items have the image of a Finnish Spitz burned into the wood (slightly smaller than the image on the keyring). The items come with a descriptive card (Bag closer - “I keep the bag tightly closed to preserve the flavour”, Pot watcher - “Put me under the lid to keep your pot from boiling over”). The card and 2 items are sealed together in a plastic wrapper. The package size is 20 x 9 x 1 cm and it weighs 32 grams.
Finnish Spitz curly birch bottle corks by Wood Jewel – £6.00
Hand-made from curly birch by Wood Jewel in Northern Finland. Two different styles are available:
- Standing dog - 4 x 8 x 3 cm, weighs 15 grams.
- Sitting dog - 4 x 10 x 3 cm, weighs 22 grams.
Each item is unique with different patterns and slight size and weight variations.
Finnish Spitz Hanging Decoration (yew wood) by Magic Thistle Crafts – £5.00
Hand-made in Scotland by Magic Thistle Crafts from highly polished and smooth yew wood with a large black outline of a Finnish Spitz attached. A tartan ribbon (available in red/green/white OR green/blue/black) is attached to hang the decoration. Weighs around 30 grams and measures approx. 8.5 (h) x 8 (w) x 1 (d) cm. although weights and dimensions do vary.
Finnish Spitz curly birch tea ball infusers by Wood Jewel – £8.00
Back in stock! We have 3 different curly birch items each with a metal tea ball infuser and chain attached. Unscrew the ball, add your tea leaves, and screw back together before placing it in a cup or teapot, pouring on boiling water, and dangling the curly birch part over the outside of the cup or teapot. The tea ball is available with the following curly birch attachments:

Finnish Spitz shaped birch wood wall-hanging by Veico – £10.00 (only 1 left)
This is cut in the shape of a Finnish Spitz with the image of one burned into the wood. It is designed and made by Veico in Finland out of local birch wood. The size is 17 x 15 x 1.5 cm and it weighs 105 grams. It is like a much larger, thicker, and heavier version of the key ring (without the metal ring). It can be hung on the wall as a decoration using the hole on the back or by attaching a small hook. It will also stand freely on a firm level surface although it may need some form of support if you intend to do that permanently. This item was made specially for the FSS and is not sold in this form by the manufacturer (they market it for a higher price as a sauna thermometer with temperature markings and a dial).
