A week after Bournemouth and we were off again, this time to Welsh Kennel Club. It was raining, so it had to be WKC show. With an early start, being in the ring at 9.30 am for judge Ben Reynolds-Frost we had an entry of 10 dogs, all present although one of them was not shown. The DCC, with BoB and subsequently G4, was awarded to Robert Greaves Ch Kunniakas Look no Further For Whittimere, with the DRCC going to Steve and Alison Piearce’s Ahonpaan Esko At Sukunimi. In bitches the CC, her third, was won by Jo Mansfield’s S Kyri of Yoivo. She is rarely shown, and gained her third CC at three successive shows – at longish intervals. There is therefore another new Champion, subject to the usual KC confirmation. The bitch RCC then went to Enkelini Toivoa from the Puppy class, at just six months of age. She is owned and bred by a delighted Abby Rolfe and was also BP. We now (at the time of writing) now have a two week break before we head off to City of Birmingham show where we have an entry of just six dogs.
