The breed’s first championship show of the season has now been and gone and one can only surmise that the first time it has had the single CC would be the reason for the tiny entry. Unfortunately there had been a mix up with the order of judging so a number of exhibitors were aiming for a 10 am start actually then had to wait until gone 1.
The entry of 11 was further reduced down to 8 and Judge Ann Arch awarded a first CC & BOB to Littlejohn’s Puulatva Wee Lassie Wae Arcuilean.
BD & Res CC went to Byrne’s Ch Kunniakas Kimi Possible. Res BD was Rolfe’s Puulatva the Red Norseman Among Inkivaari and RBB was Littlejohn’s Puulatva Minnie The Minx Wae Arcuilean. Best Puppy was Abigail Rolfe’s Enkelini Niinkaunis.
Both papers have now published their “Tops” and a Finnish Spitz has ended up in the Top 10 of all breeds with Ch Toveri Samppanja coming 10th in the Top Brood Bitch. (Quite some achievement having had only 2 litters with a total of 8 puppies in all.) Top Dog is Greaves & Croxford’s Ch / IR Ch Kunniakas Look No Further For Whittimere & Top Breeder Byrne’s Kunniakas Kennel. Top Stud dog is Dalley’s Toveri Seppo from Santasepon and Top Puppy Thompson & Cavill’s Toveri Tuula.
