In case you have not already heard or been told, the FSC Ch. show has had to be moved from Watlington Village Hall, which seems to be on the verge of partial collapse of the roof, to Baginton Village Hall in Warwickshire.

At Richmond there was an entry of 14 dogs for Jill Peak, of which two were absent. One could have expected a long wait after an entry of 63 dogs in the breed which preceded us, but we did get into the ring a little earlier than we might have expected. At last some of this year’s new puppies were shown, three of the four being siblings from the same litter.

DCC and BOB was Will Croxford’s Ch Kunniakas Look No Further for Whittimere and RDCC Terry Dalley’s Toveri Markku, also from Open.

Things were a little different in bitches, where there was no entry in Open, and the BCC was won by Pam McQuaide’s Toveri Neito – I am not sure if this was her first. RBCC was Trevor and Yvonne Howlett’s Hehkuva Kuparijarvi, who also took BP
